An Eternal Point Of View
As I look out across the horizon thinking of things I’ll need to do today, methodically I list and prioritize all the work I’ll put into play. So much piling up that’ll need to be done; my head swims with all I’ll have to do,… but I hardly take the time to put myself in place with true perspectives,… an eternal point of view.
What seemed significant last week; last year, hardly holds weight of importance anymore. The energy and time that took me out and away now hardly hold meaning of what it was for. I wonder if what I’m doing this moment is something worth carrying through, especially when sized, measured up and compared to the timeless perspective,.. in an eternal point of view.
Running here and there in my wild pursuit,… towards goals that I may never get to anyhow. I have to stop and think and then realize that life is more than the here and now.
Pondering existence; in this finite journey and what is of most importance to be; beyond the worldly pulls and trappings is my immediate and extended family. As they connect me to the past and future and to what the spirit confirms to be true, I come near to the mindset; a purpose renewed, with timeless perspective,… an eternal point of view. Yeah, an eternal point of view.
